It is intended for authors with limited sources of funding that allow for open access publication charges. $36,000 of funding has been approved for distribution over one year. The OA Author Fund is made possible by contributions from the offices of KU Provost, KU Vice Chancellor for Research, and KUMC Vice Chancellor for Research.
